We are in unprecedented times with a world-wide virus fundamentally affecting everything that we all do. Covid 19 and Government instructions have placed huge but necessary restrictions on how we all operate.
At the Foundation we make no distinction between our concern for the health and safety of our clients, for that of our caseworker, Shaun Blackwood, and for that of society at large. At the same time though, through this tremendous period of uncertainty, for our clients this uncertainty could be devastating.
So whilst face-to-face meetings are now officially restarting, Shaun, who has been carrying out essential visits throughout lockdown, continues to work from home, operating the programme with frequent phone and digital contact with clients, related professionals and multi-agency bodies. Our heartfelt thanks go out to Shaun, and his own support network at the St Giles Trust, for continuing safely our client programme in these most challenging times. We are confident that as soon as the lockdown measures are fully lifted we will be able to provide the vital support, that we did prior to the lockdown.
As the situation further develops, we will endeavour to keep you updated. As ever your continued support in these difficult times also sustains us.
